Plans ending in 12-31-26:

• All Presbyterian Senior Plans
• All Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans
• Blue Cross Blue Shield Select HMO
• All SCAN Health Plans
• All Christus Health Plans

What happens next?

• If your plan leaves, you have until December 31st to enroll in another Medicare Advantage plan to have it begin January 1st.
• If your plan leaves, you also have a special enrollment period to enroll in a Medicare Supplement plan with Guaranteed Issue (this means you won't have to undergo medical underwriting to qualify).
• If you don't make a plan election by December 31st, you will revert back to traditional Medicare and only have Part A and B coverage January 1st.
• You have until March 4th to enroll in a Medicare Supplement plan guaranteed issue, and until February 28th to enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan.

• If you're losing an HMO plan, there are 4 HMO carriers for Medicare Advantage plans in NM for 2027:
  • UHC
  • BCBS
  • Humana
  • Devoted
• You'll need to check if the plan you're looking at is offered in your county.
