Some of the Insurance Plans We Can Help You With
GROUP HEALTH INSURANCE
Group Medical Insurance is becoming more complex all the time with the passing of national and local legislation. And then there are all those confusing acronyms: HSA, HRA, PPO, HMO, PPACA, and GAP. What does it all mean, and where does it end? Let us help. We have experience with all these programs.
In order to obtain underwritten quotes for groups with 2 – 50 employees, we will need a census form completed with names and dates of birth for employees and dependents. If there are current group benefits in place, it is helpful to have copies of the current benefit summaries.
For groups with 50 or more employees, a group health statement with two years of claims experience needs to be completed by someone in Human Resources. If the group does not have two years of claim experience, then each employee will have to complete a Uniform Medical Assessment Form (UMAF's) in order to obtain a group quote.
When traveling outside the U.S., you should carry travel insurance. This inexpensive insurance can save you not only in terms of money but also in terms of receiving quick, modern medical care. You can get a quote and enroll HERE in an International Medical Global plan that is right for you.

AFFORDABLE CARE ACT
The Affordable Care Act (ACA, also known as Obamacare) has mandated that individual insurance be categorized in 5 different levels: platinum, gold, silver, bronze, and, in some cases, certain people may qualify for catastrophic plans.
All individual plans offered by all insurance carriers fall into one of these categories. New Mexico insurance carriers participating in ACA plan offerings are BCBS, Friday Health Plans, True Health New Mexico, and Molina.
If you qualify for a federal tax subsidy, we can help you enroll through healthcare.gov. To find out if you qualify for a federal tax subsidy, you can go to the Kaiser website and enter your personal information. Tax subsidies are based on your current insurance plan year modified adjusted gross income.
If you do not qualify for a federal tax subsidy, we can get you covered directly with the carrier of your choice.
